Birta Impex SRL respects the privacy of your data. This document explains what data we collect and how we use it.

What data we collect
Through the contact form: name, phone, email and your message. Through the order form: name, phone, email, delivery address, ordered products and any additional details. Through the withdrawal form: name, email, phone, order number, products and, optionally, the IBAN for your refund.
Purpose and legal basis
Concluding and performing the contract (orders, delivery, withdrawal) — Art. 6(1)(b) GDPR; answering your messages — your consent (point a); meeting our legal tax and accounting obligations (point c).
Recipients and processors
We do not sell your data. We share it only with the providers needed to run the website: Resend (sending emails; servers in the US, with appropriate safeguards under the GDPR), Cloudflare (hosting and cookie-free, anonymous traffic statistics) and OpenStreetMap (displaying the map on the Contact page, which receives your device's IP address).
Data stored on your device
If you tick "Remember my contact details on this device" in the order form, your name, phone, email and address are saved only in your browser (localStorage), so you don't have to type them again. They are not sent to us this way; you can delete them by unticking the option on your next order or in your browser settings.
Retention period
We keep messages for as long as needed to answer them. We keep orders and related documents for the period required by tax and accounting legislation.
Your rights
You have the right of access, rectification, erasure, restriction, portability and objection, as well as the right to withdraw your consent. You can write to us at any time at info@birtaimpex.ro. You also have the right to lodge a complaint with the Romanian data protection authority (ANSPDCP), www.dataprotection.ro.
